  • Who can enroll a patient in the Registry?

Any Health Care Provider with access to an eligible patient's medical records. i.e., physician, pharmacist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, etc.

  • Patient Confidentiality

This voluntary registry makes a concerted effort to preserve patient confidentiality, i.e., no patient identifiers are collected or maintained by the Registry. The Registry assigns patient numbers and provides a log to assist the provider in maintaining the link between the patient and the Registry ID.
Contact the Registry for Log ID Assignments.

  • Enrollment Registration Process

Complete Registration and the Antiretroviral Therapy During Pregnancy Forms and email or fax the forms to the Registry or call the Registry to provide the information via the phone.

  • 100% Health Care Providers

Additionally, HCPs are invited to become 100% Providers by the Registry after the below requirements are met and maintained by a reporting site. Once the below threshold has been met, the Registry will evaluate the status of your site and may contact you to discuss whether becoming a 100% Provider is of interest. For more information about becoming a 100% Provider, please contact the coordinating center via email at SM_APR@APRegistry.com.

    • HCP must agree in writing to enroll all patients exposed to antiviral therapy medication during pregnancy

    • HCP commits to provide the date each patient was first seen at their site during the current pregnancy on page 1 of each Registration Form (a patient who was first seen at your site after the current pregnancy outcome has already occurred cannot be considered prospective, but should still be reported to the Registry)

    • HCP must commit to send clean and complete data.

    • HCP must have minimal Not Valid and Lost to Follow-up cases.

    • Benefits to becoming a 100% HCP include: all submitted will be considered prospective, able to bulk submit cases, you will be mentioned in APR's semiannual Interim Report and an invitation to the 100% Health Care Provider Interim Report Results Review.
